The quality of service Acadian has offered over the past forty-eight years led to tremendous growth and earned our company international recognition. The evolution from humble beginnings in 1971 as a fledgling service with two ambulances and eight medics into the largest private ambulance service in the nation continually reminds us of our underlying dedication and passion for serving others with care and dignity. Our advanced capabilities and vast resources provide the highest possible level of pre-hospital emergency care and disaster response to metropolitan areas and the most remote swamps and offshore facilities in the open Gulf. We are proud to serve 70 parishes and counties spanning Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas.

The tough standards we meet for accreditation are important for providing the best possible patient care. This voluntary process signifies that we have met the “gold standard” determined by the ambulance industry to be essential in our operations and relationships with other agencies, the general public, and the medical community.

While the company's history is rooted in ground and air ambulance service, we credit our subsidiary divisions for much of our continued success and diversity. Safety Management Systems, Acadian Total Security, the National EMS Academy, and Executive Air Charter Service all work to improve the health and safety of others, making Acadian a world-class service provider.

At the heart of our operation is the recruitment of dedicated, caring people, who are given the best ongoing training possible. Because of the remarkable dedication of our nearly 5,000 employees, Acadian has won the highest honors in our industry. The employee stock ownership program instituted in 1993 greatly enhances employee benefits. As employee owners, we all share in the company's future.

Acadian is an equal opportunity employer.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
